Say what you do
Visitors arrive with a question about whether you can help them. Use direct service names and specific descriptions. A short, clear explanation of your work is more useful than a headline that asks the visitor to interpret a slogan.
Give each page a purpose
A homepage introduces the firm and points people in the right direction. A service page explains the work, the fit and the next step. A contact page makes a conversation straightforward. These pages work together when their roles are clear.
Design for reading
Strong typography, a manageable line length and generous spacing make content easier to navigate. When a photograph has a lot of visual detail, place important text on a solid surface. Give the message enough room to remain readable on a phone.
Treat the website as an ongoing service
A website continues to need attention after launch. Consider who will handle updates, maintenance and new information. The design sets the first impression; keeping the site useful maintains it.
